Groupwise (v.8) - Sorting Mail Folders [Windows]

This document overviews the process of organizing the mail folders within Groupwise.


Since by default the new folders created by the user will automatically be the topmost listed, users may want to further organize or sort their mail folders. Folders and sub-folders can be reordered to user preference for more convenient mail navigation and organization.

Sorting Folders

Users should select the Edit menu and choose the Folders option.

A new pane will appear displaying all user Groupwise folders. If the content of the Cabinet folder are not already visible, select the small + sign to the left of the Cabinet folder. Now, users can select any folder therein and choose the Move Up or Move Down options on the right to properly organize their folders.

Organize Mail Folders

Users can also Create, Rename, or Delete folder using the selections on the right. When finished with all folder editing, select Ok when complete and now the Folders pane on the left will reflect your most recent changes.
