Learn@UW (UW-Madison Only) - Individual Help for Instructors


There are a number of campus resources for instructors to receive individualized help with a Learn@UW course.

DoIT Help Desk
264-4357 (4-HELP)

Call the Help Desk, or report a problem online to receive technical assistance, or help with setting up any of the tools in Learn@UW. The DoIT Help Desk is the place to start with questions about particular functions of Learn@UW or about technical difficulties. Start with the Help Desk for a timely answer to a technical Learn@UW question.

Digital Media Center @ Biotech
Room 3130 Genetics-Biotechnology (425 Henry Mall)

The DMC @ Biotech provides hardware and assistance for doing production work, as well as consultations on instructional technology projects, such as Learn@UW. Call the DMC to schedule a time for individual help on getting started with a Learn@UW course.

Student consultants and full time staff are also available at the DMC Monday - Friday 8:30 a.m. - 7 p.m. (5 p.m. on Fridays, hours differ during breaks). To make an appointment for a consultation on Learn@UW call the DMC at 265-4817 (appointments only). For more information, visit the Digital Media Center homepage.

DoIT Academic Technology

DoIT's Academic Technology Consultants provide help with course design and can help you get started with Learn@UW. They can show you the most efficient ways to get started and to use Learn@UW, whether you would like to add a syllabus or design an entire course. Consultants are available to meet with you by scheduling an appointment sometime in the planning stage of your course.
