The Copy icon in the Discussions tool allows you create a copy of a forum or topic from an existing one that can later be edited. The problem with this is that if you create a copy of a topic or forum that has a release condition attached to it, the release conditions on both copies will be linked so that if you edit the release condition in either one, it will change in both.

Learn@UW - Changing Online Status Preference to "Always Appear Offline" Only Holds for The Current Session

If you change your "Online Status" setting in your Preferences (under the "General Preferences" tab) to "Always Appear Offline", the green dot indicator by your name in the Classlist should not display. However, this only holds for the current session.

Learn@UW - Discussion Forums/Topics May Display Out of Order when Copied from Another Course

If Discussion forums and topics are copied from another course via Copy Components, they may not display in the same order in the destination course as in the source course.

When you import artifacts as results from a course, a dialog to select the course results appears. However, the list may be incomplete, missing Dropbox folder or Quiz attempt results.

If you create a Content topic as a quicklink to an external site URL that links to a Windows Media file, the audio (.wma) or video (.wmv) may not play when you view the topic.

If you create an HTML 'Web page' document from Microsoft Word and use it as course content, the HTML document should be saved as UTF-8 encoded.

Learn@UW - Problems Playing Videos Referenced by Quicklinks when Using Internet Explorer

When using Internet Explorer (6 or 7 or 8) to view a document in any tool except Content, if it contains a Quicklink to a video file of type .mov or .avi specified to be opened in a NEW window, the video may not play when you click on the link.

Learn@UW - Print Icon in Content Viewer Doesn't Work for Quicklinks to External Web Pages

If you view a Content topic that is a quicklink to an external web page, the Print this topic icon in the Content viewer does not work. No action takes place when this icon is clicked.
