World Caption - Exporting Video


This document describes how to export a captioned movie from World Caption.
After you have finished working on your project with World Caption, you may then export it for distribution and viewing on any computer.

Step 1: Select the caption tracks you want to include

If you have multiple caption tracks for your video, select the ones you would like to include in the export.
Also, select one caption track to be visible when the file is opened. Users will be able to access the alternative caption tracks through their QuickTime player controls.


 

Step 2: Export your project

Select the "Export Movie" command from the "File" menu.

Using the navigation dialogue box, select the destination for your project.

Enter the desired filename in the "Save As:" textbox and click "Save". The file extension and file format for the captioned movie will be the same as those for the original, uncaptioned movie.
